TTC organises 24 hour Bikeathon for charity

TTC wetranslate Ltd is holding a 24 hour Bikeathon in Chelmsford, Essex on 13 September 2014. The event is co-hosted by local personal fitness studio, Unique Results. TTC and UR have joined forces to bring the 24 hour Bikeathon to raise money for Translators Without Borders and Kids Inspire, two charities doing worthwhile work in global and local communities.

The event will be held at Unique Results, and for 24 hours, 3 Stable bikes will be running, with bikers riding for predefined slots from 15 minutes, to as long as they can manage! The 24 hour Bikeathon is open to the public, and anyone who would like to ride one of our exercise bikes can do so by booking online.

A running tally of how many miles each person has travelled and in what time will be recorded and at the end of the 24 hour Bikeathon: we will announce what distance has been reached overall by all the participants’ efforts combined.

Providing musical nourishment for the duration of the 24 hour Bikeathon, will be some of Chelmsford’s most excellent DJs, including Irie Firat (Bassment), AP- 1 (Intense Records), Monk3Y (Electric Plums), Andy Hatman Laurie (Brownstock), Warmer Brothers (Bassment) and Local Life (Indigo) to keep the bikers and attendees entertained alike.

Anyone wanting to take part in the 24 hour Bikeathon will need to book themselves an allocated spot prior to the event; members of the public are also able to call in whenever they want in order cheer on the bikers. The company is also looking for corporate sponsorship, so any local businesses that want to show support while raising their profile in the community can also get involved by contacting Levent Yildizgoren on 01245 216 930.
