International Women’s Day 2021
The 8th of March is celebrated as International Women’s Day throughout the world and the theme this year is “Choose to Challenge”.
The aim of this theme is, quoting the internationalwomensday.com, “A challenged world is an alert world and from challenge comes change. So let’s all choose to challenge. How will you help forge a gender equal world? Celebrate women’s achievement. Raise awareness against bias. Take action for equality.”

Studies and surveys show that the language industry is largely dominated by women with around 70% making up the workforce, and whilst we do not have exact percentages, with regard to the gender pay gap, the language industry provides more equal opportunities to women in comparison to other sectors.
As proud and inclusive members of a team, 77% of whom are females, that chooses to challenge gender inequality, we invite you to celebrate International Women’s Day with joy.
