Our relationship goes back many years. In that time, we’ve delivered 92 multilingual projects for Apollo across dozens of languages, including European and Nordic languages.
That track record comes down to two things: deep knowledge of the subject matter and a trusted pool of translators who specialise in it.
The Challenge
Our client needed their installation guide translated into German and typeset, ready for print.
The content was technical. The volume was high. The deadline was tight.
Two distinct stages, very little time. That meant careful planning from day one.
We know from experience that typesetting is not an afterthought. A perfect translation can still fail if the layout breaks, text overflows or a diagram label ends up in the wrong place. So we give DTP the same care as the translation itself.
That’s why we brought our DTP specialists in at the very start, not at the end.
The Solution
Our project managers got to work straight away, bringing in our specialist translators and DTP team from the outset.
Throughout the project, we kept the client updated at every stage and made sure everyone involved stayed in sync.
The translation came first, handled by translators who know fire safety terminology inside out. Once it was complete and checked, it passed straight to our DTP specialist, who already knew the brief.
No delays at handover. No surprises at the end.
By following our proven process, we delivered both stages on time and to the standard Apollo expects from us.
